Mailboxes Under 6 Inches Apart Yet One Is “Unsafe”

Thanks for taking a look at our first post on USPSISSUES.com. For this post we are going to show pictures to everyone that our mailbox and our neighbor’s mailbox are under 6 inches apart. Our neighbor has recieved mail for most of time we have not. Our address has been deemed undeliverable for over 18 months. We continue to ask USPS for help but instead of reasonable compromise or help we have been told it is not their problem to make their carrier deliver our mail. Here is the mailboxes.

Give the full story, there has to be reasons why, and why in the video your mailbox is by your driveway but in the pics it has been relocated to the far right side of your property???

      Hi Scott,

Thank you for your response and for paying attention to this matter! I’m curious, are you a current or former USPS employee? If so, could you offer any insights or assistance? I’d really appreciate any information or reasons you might be able to provide.

I apologize in advance for any delays in my replies tonight. I’ve been standing outside the USPS for the past two days, and I’m a bit worn out from being in the sun for so long. I’ll be sharing the full story in detail, but it will be a bit slow as I need to balance this with my job after daily picketing.

I plan to share thoroughly documented videos, witness statements, and other evidence that has been ignored by several individuals, including management at the South County office and beyond.

Regarding your question about the mailbox: does it matter which side it’s on if there are no obstructions? The mailboxes were originally on the left side of our home for over 25 years. At one point, we got a PO Box due to issues with the carrier and moved the unused mailbox. In the video, you’ll see this was when we had the PO Box to avoid further harassment from the carrier. Unfortunately, this didn’t prevent the carrier from using profanity against our children or our home. When we resumed mail delivery to our home, we placed the mailbox back in its original position, which can be verified by our neighbors.

We simply want safe mail service restored to our home and hope for a reasonable resolution.

      Thank you for your understanding.

      Best regards,
      Ken

        Scott,

Let’s also not overlook the disturbing content in the video. It’s never acceptable for anyone, especially someone in a position of responsibility, to yell things like “This m’fer should be dead” at a family’s home.

Thank you again for your attention and for sharing this. Each post helps increase visibility and allows more people to see and share the information.

        Best regards,
        Ken
